Police did not specify a time for the lanes to reopen.
The crash happened about 11:30 this morning and one of the trucks overturned and crashed through the concrete median, police said. The westbound stretch of highway was closed between the Main Street exit in Stroudsburg and the Route 33 South exit in Stroud Township, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Police did not say if there were injuries and would not provide information beyond a news release. Names of the drivers were not immediately available.
Emergency officials were asking drivers to stay away from the area and major delays were likely, the Pocono Record reports.
