The 31-year-old turned herself in Thursday and was arraigned on charges including corruption of minors
A former counselor at Valley Forge Military Academy is facing charges she supplied alcohol to students and had sexual contact with one of the cadets.
Symantha Lynn Hicks, 31, turned herself in Thursday and was arraigned on charges including corruption of minors. Authorities say she provided alcohol to three students and had sexual contact with a 16-year-old cadet.
Hicks' attorney says his client doesn't deny supplying alcohol to students but says the sex allegation was concocted by a cadet who faced disciplinary action himself.
Valley Forge Military Academy fired Hicks last month after learning of the allegations.
The academy is an all-male boarding and day school in the Philadelphia suburb of Wayne.
