Superstorm Sandy powerless numbers continue to go down, according to JCP&L figures

Three Lehigh Valley roads were still closed on Tuesday due to damage to utility wires, PennDOT reported.

As we head into the third week of recovery from Superstorm Sandy, those without power are even fewer today.

Warren County had 16 outages while Hunterdon County had 112 -- 63 of them in Readington Township, according to JCP&L figures. Those are the smallest numbers since the storm knocked out power to more than 52,000 in Warren and 55,000 in Hunterdon. Readington had more than 6,300 out after the storm tore through the region Oct. 29 into Oct. 30.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported Tuesday that three roads were still closed by damage from the storm:
Northampton County
• Raubsville Road between Kressman Road and Royal Manor Road in Williams Township is closed due to downed utilities;
• Hexenkoph Road between Buttermilk and Morgan Hill roads in Williams Township is closed due to a downed tree in utility wires.
Lehigh County
• Neffs Laurys Road between Scheidys and Riverview roads in North Whitehall Township is closed due to a downed utility.
