The numbers drawn were 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and Powerball of 6. The cash value was $379.8 million, which will be split by the two winners, if they choose to take it that way.
But $1 million tickets -- matching all five white balls -- were sold in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the multi-state lottery announced on its website. There were no $2 million Match 5 Powerplay winners in either state.
Nearly 9 million tickets won something and the lottery will pay out more than $131 million to nonjackpot winners, the lottery reports.
Wednesday's jackpot was the third highest payout in history and the second highest in the U.S.. Saturday night's prize? $40 million (cash value $26.2 million).
