William John Heard, 90, formerly of Bangor, passed away Monday at Easton Hospital.

He served in the US Army Air Corp during World War II as a technical sergeant and administrative specialist with the 58th Bombardment Wing 40th Bomb Group 20th Army Air Force serving in the India-Burma, China, Asian and Pacific Theaters and Tinian Island.

He was employed as a business educator at the Northampton School District in Northampton, until retiring in 1987.
