Darci Brown, of South Whitehall Township, director of clinical education and assistant professor of physician assistant studies at Misericordia University in Dallas, Pa., was appointed to a two-year term on the finance committee of the Physician Assistant Education Association. The association, a national organization representing physician assistant education programs, is responsible for collecting, publishing and disseminating information on physician assistant programs.

Brown is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants, where she serves as a Region V representative. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds a Pennsylvania state physician assistant license.

Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in forensic chemistry from Buffalo State College in New York and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa. She is pursuing an MBA from Misericordia.

Dale A. Wentzel, of Fleetwood, Pa., was named a project manager at Wyomissing, Pa.-based engineering and design firm RPA Engineering. Wentzel is an electrical engineer with more than 25 years experience in project management, engineering and planning.

Before joining RPA Engineering, Wentzel served as an automation engineer with Wiring by Wall Inc. in Shoemakersville, Pa. Before that he served as director of engineering at Ai Control Systems Inc. in Reading and was co-founder of engineering firm KFW Automation Inc. in Allentown.

Wentzel earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University and holds an associate degree in specialized technology — drafting from Lincoln Technical Institute. He has earned several certificates in technical courses from local colleges, organizations and companies. He also studied technology management at Lehigh University.

Wentzel is an associate member of the Pennsylvania Municipal Authority Association and a member of the International Society of Automation.

Nancy Wallitsch and Abele A. Iacobelli, lawyers with family law firm Wallitsch & Iacobelli LLP in Allentown, have earned advanced education degrees.

Wallitsch earned a certification in mediation. She is a certified mediator, a member of the American and Pennsylvania bar associations and a past president of the Lehigh County Bar Association’s Family Law Section.

Iacobelli earned a master’s degree in tax and certificate in estate planning. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Lehigh County and Northampton County bar associations. He is a former editor of the Lehigh County Bar Association family law newsletter.

Trisha de Beer, of Center Valley, and Alyssa Polise, of Pen Argyl, were named Excellent Beginnings Program Achievers for outstanding sales by fashion jewelry business lia sophia.

Both de Beer and Polise were recognized for attaining superior sales levels in their first 15 weeks with the direct- selling jewelry firm and for sharing lia sophia with other new advisers.
