Walter Randall "Randy" Zehner Jr., 82, of Hellertown, died Sunday at home.

Randy served in the United States Army as a commissioned second lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers. His active service from June 1952 to March 1954 included Fort Belvoir, Va., Granite City, Ill., Fort Belvoir, Va., and Eta Jima, Japan.

The Liberty High School and Lehigh University graduate worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. until 1983.
