At most, WFMZ is reporting, an inch or two of snow stuck anywhere in the region. There is maybe an inch on the ground at the Northampton County emergency dispatch center in Upper Nazareth Township, a dispatcher said. And the New Jersey State Police barracks in Kingwood Township, Hunterdon County, reports no accumulation; forecasts suggested there would be more snow south rather than north. Neither noticed major problems on the roads.
The temperature, which was 34 about 5 o'clock this morning, was 31 at 6 o'clock. So, the best bet until the sun rises is to exercise caution. It should be above freezing by 10 o'clock, AccuWeather projects.
Schools seem to be on regular schedules today. The forecast is for mostly sunny skies with a high of 43.
