Violations for area businesses included selling booze to underage customers, serving altered alcohol and selling liquor with a suspended state license.
The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement announced today several establishments in the Lehigh Valley which have violated various liquor control laws.
The following businesses were cited for infractions between October and January, according to a series of news releases:
- F & S Bar and Restaurant, 1008 Lehigh St. in Allentown: Cited Nov. 10 and Dec. 9 for selling alcohol after 2 a.m.
- Bavarian Tavern, 702 Broadway in Bethlehem: Cited Jan. 1 for serving fortified, adulterated and/or contaminated liquor.
- Comfort Suites, 120 W. Third St. in Bethlehem: Cited Dec. 19 for serving fortified, adulterated and/or contaminated liquor.
- Batistia Jr. Bar & Grill, 549 N. 10th St. in Allentown: Cited Dec. 31 for selling alcohol to an 18-year-old.
- Gordon Grill, 429 Gordon St. in Allentown: Cited Dec. 31 for selling alcohol to an 18-year-old.
- Volpes Sports Bar - Emmaus, 501 Broad St. in Emmaus: Cited Nov. 24 for a noise violation.
- Rascals Food & Fun, 6614 Ruppsville Road in Upper Macungie Township: Cited Dec. 8 for a noise violation.
- Beer Mussels Bar and Grill, 1214 Main St. in Hellertown: Cited on Oct. 22, Oct. 23 and Oct. 24 for serving alcohol while liquor license was suspended. Cited Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 for failing to advertise suspended liquor license on premises.
