Weis Markets is offering a new program where customers can virtually clip coupons to their club cards.
Weis Preferred Shoppers Club Card members now have the ability to load paperless coupons to their club card online, including on internet-capable smartphones.
The new program, called Weis eCoupons, currently offers 75 different coupons and is available at the Weis website.
“With Weis eCoupons, our customers are getting paperless coupons when and where they want them,” said Brian Holt, Weis Markets’ vice president of marketing
To get the electronic coupon, customers can register their Weis Preferred Shoppers Club Card by creating a MyWeis account at weismarkets.com and then digitally "clip" coupons to place them into their MyWeis account.
The coupons are then matched with the customer's purchases and redeemed. Unredeemed coupons in the customer account stay in the account until they are redeemed on a future shopping trip or expire.
Weis Markets operates165 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
