Today's storm is a bit late in arriving, but forecasters predict a mix of snow, sleet and rain into the evening.

The accumulation of snow and sleet is expected to be between one and two inches, according to the National Weather Service station in Mount Holly, N.J. Freezing rain is possible tonight before it all changes over to rain; precipitation is expected to wrap up by the morning, the service says.

A winter weather advisory was issued for Lehigh, Northampton and Warren counties until 8 a.m. Tuesday. A hazardous weather outlook was declared for the Lehigh Valley and Hunterdon County.

Northampton County dispatchers said there were no serious accidents reported as of 9:30 p.m., but numerous disabled vehicles were scattered throughout the county.

Forecasters urge drivers to watch for slippery roads, especially on bridges or overpasses.
