John William Landis
John William Landis, 95, died on Saturday at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke, Va.
He was raised in Phillipsburg and graduated valedictorian in 1935 from Phillipsburg High School. The Lafayette College graduate served in the Navy during World War II.
John's 50-year career in the nuclear industry started in 1950 when he began working for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission in Washington, D.C.
