UPDATE: Snow may fall in the Lehigh Valley tonight into Monday, forecasts say

It may be spring, but forecasters warn the winter weather may not be done yet.

The National Weather Service predicts a storm could dump snow in the region starting Sunday night.

Exactly how much snow is still to be determined.

AccuWeather predicts a “manageable” 1 to 3 inches, rather than the “blockbuster” snowfall of up to a foot some areas of the Midwest have seen from the system.

The weather service says rain is expected around the Interstate 95 corridor starting late, but cautions “significant snow” could be seen in regions to the north and west, including the Lehigh Valley.

If the snowfall is significant and sticks to roads, it could impact the Monday morning commute, the weather service says, and “heavy wet snow on trees and wires could also pose a problem.”

Some minor coastal flooding is also forecast.
