Lois, a Phillipsburg native, was a homemaker and the wife and helpmate of a Moravian pastor.
Lois Helen Bachman Morgenstern died peacefully 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hospice House in Bloomington, Ind. Her family was by her side for the four days of her stay there.
She was born and raised in Phillipsburg and later lived in Easton, among other places.
Lois was a homemaker and the wife and helpmate of a Moravian pastor.
Together, Fritz and Lois nurtured the lives of families in three Moravian congregations over the course of 17 years, and also ministered to the mentally challenged for 17 years at Richmond State Hospital, before their retirement.
