An Allentown man and an Emmaus woman face charges for trafficking heroin in the Poconos, authorities said in a news release.

Matthew Mills, 32, and Feliciano Marzigliano, 23, were taken into custody Friday after being stopped for a traffic violation on Long Pond Road in Pocono Summit, Pocono Mountain Regional police said.

According to police, during the stop officers located 159 bags of heroin stashed in Marzigliano's bra and underwear. Police said Mills instructed Marzigliano to hide the drugs.

A K-9 search of the vehicle then uncovered an additional 22 bags of heroin concealed in the trunk, under a spare tire well, the police said.

Police say Mills originally possessed between 180 and 190 bags of heroin that he purchased in bulk, manufactured and bagged in Allentown, before traveling with Marzigliano to the Pocono Mountains to sell the narcotics. The investigation revealed the two suspects had made deliveries of heroin over the past few days, according to the release.

Mills and Marzigliano each face various charges including possession of heroin with intent to distribute, criminal conspiracy and tampering with evidence.

Both were taken to the Monroe County Prison to await arraignment.
