The woman of Korean descent noticed an employee had identified her as "Ching Chong Lee" on the a photo ticket, according to the suit
A woman of Korean descent who claims a worker at a CVS in Atlantic County used a phrase mocking Asians to identify her on a store receipt says she was "horrified" when she made the discovery.
Hyun Lee has filed a $1 million discrimination suit against the pharmacy chain.
Attorney Susan Lask says her client was picking up photos in February at a CVS in Egg Harbor City when Lee noticed an employee had identified her as "Ching Chong Lee" on the ticket.
Lee said today she refused to go back to the store and instead emailed a complaint. She says an apology wouldn't have stopped the lawsuit.
A CVS spokesman has said the store has a firm non-discrimination policy.
