The death of a man with Lehigh Valley ties whose body was found wrapped in a tarp outside a hotel has been ruled a homicide.

The Dauphin County Coroner's Office said today that 65-year-old James Edward Tommor died of multiple traumatic injuries.

Tommor and his son, 24-year-old Trent Tolene, had been living in the Days Inn in Susquehanna Township, where the father's body was found Saturday, authorities said.

Authorities say Tolene was arrested Friday night after a police pursuit on Interstate 81. He's being held on $250,000 bail on DUI and other charges.

Investigators say blood was found in the room where the men were staying and that they believe it came from Tommor.

Tommor recently lived in Bethlehem, Lehigh County, according to county records.

It wasn't immediately clear if Tolene had an attorney.
