The 55-year-old was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 25.
Police say a Roseto woman was with her 17-year-old son in a car when she purchased heroin this afternoon in Easton's West Ward.
Marie Davanzo, 55, of the 100 block of Webster Street, was arraigned today by District Judge Elizabeth Romig-Gainer in Easton on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and drug paraphernalia possession.
Police say Davanzo was in a car with her 17-year-old son and another unnamed adult male when they purchased heroin near 10th and Jackson streets. The car was shortly after pulled over in the 600 block of North 13th Street and two syringes used for heroin consumption were found, police said.
Davanzo was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 25.
