The 38-year-old man is in Northampton County Prison after being ID'd in a photo lineup.

An Allentown man pointed a handgun at a man's face in Easton while threatening to shoot him over owed money, according to court records.

Shaguye Jamon Colbert, 38, of the first block of North 15th Street, later stabbed the victim in the left hand with a butcher knife, court records and police say.

Colbert was arraigned today and is being held in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail on attempted homicide, robbery, aggravated and simple assault charges, records say. He's also being held on $300,000 bail on robbery, burglary and terroristic threats charges, records say.

Police responded May 23 to the 1000 block of Elm Street in Easton to find Adrian Anderson standing on the sidewalk bleeding, court records say. Anderson said Colbert came to the home several times and threatened to kill him if he did not pay him, court records said.

Colbert pushed his way inside Anderson's home May 23 and threatened to kill him and said he had killed before, court records say.

Colbert grabbed a long butcher knife from the kitchen and chased Anderson outside, police said. Anderson tried to hold the door shut from outside but Colbert forced his way out and stabbed Anderson in the left hand, according to court records.

He then chased Anderson with the knife and swung at him in a hammer-like stabbing motion, police said. A neighbor called the police and Colbert ran away, court records say.

Anderson told police that Colbert, who goes by the street name "Sha Skillz," is a known drug dealer and possible Bloods gang member, according to court records. Anderson was taken to Easton Hospital in Wilson Borough and received stitches, police said.

Anderson on Wednesday identified Colbert in a photo array created by a detective, court records say.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. July 26.
