The Keyport, N.J., man allegedly put the offer in a bottle.
Authorities say a 54-year-old man offered $200 to four young girls if they would let him do a striptease for them.
The Asbury Park Press reports Thomas Lovallo, of Keyport, N.J., faces four counts each of attempted luring and child endangerment.
Keansburg police say Lovallo was arrested Thursday, about two weeks after he allegedly approached the girls and threw an empty water bottle in their direction before running off.
After the man left, the girls noticed a rolled-up piece of paper in the bottle. It was a note offering them $200 if they would let him “do a hot strip” dance for them, police say.
The girls quickly told one of their parents, who notified police.
Lovallo remained jailed today in lieu of $100,000 bail. It’s not known if he has retained an attorney.
