Betty and her husband, Paul, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 4, 2011.
She was employed by the Hunterdon Hills Health Care Facility in Glen Gardner for 20 years before her retirement 30 years ago. Prior to that she was a payroll clerk with Mack Printing for 15 years.
She was a 1942 graduate of Wilson High School.
