Keep your eye on the sky tonight, Lehigh Valley.

The U.S. Air Force is scheduled to launch a rocket at 7:30 p.m. in Virginia. Not only is the Lehigh Valley in the viewing area, the forecast shows the clouds shouldn't cause any trouble.

With the launch of the privately built Minotaur rocket, the Air Force and NASA will try to put 29 tiny satellites into orbit, including a smartphone and a satellite built by students.

The Orbital Sciences Corp. rocket is launching as an Air Force test program, carrying small satellites. One is an ordinary smartphone NASA converted and another was built by students at Thomas Jefferson High School in Alexandria, Va.

You can monitor the Minotaur 1 rocket's launch from Wallops Flight Facility on NASA's Facebook and Twitter.

If standing outside when it's less than 50 degrees isn't doing it for you, come back for Nasa's live video here.
