It drops to 16 degrees just before 6 o'clock, the National Weather Service reports.

It what is expected to be a memorable weather week, Sunday brought us brutal wind-driven cold, followed up this morning with a less-gusty record-tying low temperature on 16 degrees just before 6 o'clock.

The measurement at Lehigh Valley International Airport tied the regional mark for Nov. 25 set in 1989, the National Weather Service reports.

So, let's look to Tuesday into Wednesday, when a nor'easter is expected to visit, likely bringing frozen precipitation at the beginning and end of the storm, the weather service reports this morning in a hazardous weather outlook. In between there should be very heavy rain which could lead to some flooding.

And, if you liked Sunday's wind, you'll love the 40 mph gusts expected to fuel the mid-week storm. The gusts are expected to last into Thanksgiving, the weather service said.
