The flakes of this afternoon's snow have accumulated and are causing some trouble on the roads.
The National Weather Service warned of one to three inches of snow for the Lehigh Valley and Warren County, while parts of Hunterdon County are expecting two to three inches. The region is under a Winter Weather Advisory through 6 a.m. Monday, the weather service said.
Freemansburg Avenue in Palmer Township was closed over a crash this afternoon.
At least one crash was reported on Interstate 78 East in Lower Saucon Township, according to emergency radio reports.
Between about 5 and 5:30 p.m., transportation alerts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey described incidents including:
- An overturned vehicle on Interstate 80 East east of Exit 12 (Route 521/Hope-Blairstown Road) in Frelinghuysen Township, closing the left lane.
- An accident on Route 22 West east of Route 646/Warren Street in Phillipsburg, closing the left lane.
- A multi-vehicle crash on I-78 West west of Exit 35 (Route 143) in Greenwich Township, Berks County, with all lanes closed.
