Speed limits return to normal on Route 22, Route 33 and Interstate 78 in Lehigh Valley

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation had restricted top speeds to 45 mph.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has lifted speed limit restrictions on Interstate 78, Route 22 and Route 33, according to a series of alerts about 11 o'clock this morning.

The 45 mph was put into place at 8 o'clock as heavy snow fell over the Lehigh Valley and a series of motor vehicle accidents occurred across the area.
