Two to four inches of fluffy snow forecast during the morning commute

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

More snow is on the way.

Two to four inches of fluffy snow is forecast for a three- to six-hour period starting at 5 a.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service has issued a winter weather advisory from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for Northampton, Lehigh, Upper Bucks and Monroe counties in Pennsylvania and Warren, Hunterdon, Sussex and Morris counties in New Jersey.

The weather service predicts hazardous travel during the Tuesday morning commute with temperatures in the teens.

Winds will be light and temperatures will rise to between 25 to 30 degrees during by midday, according to the weather service.

Between 4.5 and 11 inches fell across the region Saturday, with 11 inches in Pen Argyl and 4.5 inches in Easton and Whitehall Township.

All the snow precedes winter’s arrival. The first day of winter is Saturday.
