It's cold this morning and much of the month's snow remains on the ground.

Check out the list.Tuesday's snow is well in the past -- the official accumulation at Lehigh Valley International Airport was 2.1 inches, according to the National Weather Service -- but with it 12 degrees with a chill factor of 4 degrees at 6:15, the residue remains a problem. The region has had more than 13 inches of snow so far this December and much of it remains on the ground because temperatures have remained unseasonably low.
That will be a thing of the past come Sunday, with a forecast high of 62, but we have to get there first.
The major school districts in Lehigh and Northampton counties have two-hour delays. The Hackettstown and Phillipsburg districts in Warren County set 90-minute delays, while many others have two-hour delays.
Many of the districts made the decision Tuesday night.
