Diana Falvo and Kathleen Nelson were named to the board of trustees of United Way of Northern New Jersey, which serves Warren County.
Falvo, of Hoboken, N.J., is assistant vice president of New York City-based international consulting firm CCS Fundraising. She has directed multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns for education, health care and social service clients. Before that, she served as managing director of development of City Year New York, a nonprofit education organization.
Nelson, of East Stroudsburg, is assistant dean of health sciences and auxiliary education programs at Sussex County Community College. Before that, she oversaw the college’s service learning and volunteerism program.
Based in Morristown, N.J., the United Way chapter also serves Morris, North Essex, Sussex and Somerset counties.
