Voters in a poll say Upper Mount Bethel Township supervisors are this week's biggest turkey for voting to discuss the use of open space money to subsidize fertilizer costs.

Landowner and former county Councilman Ron Angle told the supervisors he was considering the use of biosolids -- a treated byproduct of sewage and human waste broken down into pellets -- as a cheap fertilizer alternative.

As for who deserves this week's biggest trophy, Spring Reins of Life and Rania Ismail tied.

Spring Reins of Life is an equine therapy organization that aids veterans suffering from PTSD. And Ismail is a blind woman who realized her dream of becoming a massage therapist.
