Snow is falling this morning, but the weather will warm and melting ice jams could create problems, the weather service says.

The list of warnings and watches continues to grow this morning as the National Weather Service has added a flood watch for  Saturday into Sunday in the region, according to an alert.

The watch begins 11 a.m. Saturday and ends 6 a.m. Sunday for the Lehigh Valley and northwest New Jersey with as much as 2 inches of rain combining with melting ice jams putting creeks and rivers at risk, the weather service said. The high temperature Saturday should be 58, the weather service said.

A watch means there is a potential for flooding if the current forecast holds up.

An ice jam on the Lehigh River appears to have crept downstream overnight and a flood warning for that part of West Easton into Easton remains in place this morning. The weather service said a "part" of the jam remains in place.

It was snowing just before 8:30 this morning in Easton, where it was sticking to the roads.

Freelance photographer Tim Wynkoop contributed to this report.
