A flood watch is also in effect from Saturday morning to late Saturday.
Add another advisory to the list this week.
The Lehigh Valley is under a freezing rain advisory until 4 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, N.J.
The Valley and Warren and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey can expect light freezing rain this evening and overnight, the weather service says.
Ice accumulations are expected to reach a few hundredths of an inch on the roads and sidewalks.
Temperatures are in the lower 30s and are expected to rise throughout the night, but the road and sidewalk surfaces remain cold, the weather service says.
But that's not all, as a flood watch also remains in effect from Saturday morning through late Saturday night.
Heavy rain is expected to make its way through the area Saturday and bring one and a half to two inches, the weather service says.
The combination of ice jams and heavy rain runoff cold lead to flooding of creeks and rivers in the area. Those who live near an area prone to flooding should be prepared to take action, the weather service says.
