Monroe County man sought by police after assault, car theft

A possibly armed Monroe County man is being sought by Pennsylvania State Police at Fern Ridge after he assaulted his ex-wife early this morning and stole her car, police said.

Klayton Drake, 28, of Eldred Township, Pa., may be armed with a 9mm handgun, police report. He assaulted Anneliese Drake, 29, of Chestnuthill Township, Pa., about 2:40 this morning in the first block of Shenkel Road in Chestnuthill and stole her blue 2006 Subaru Impreza (Pennsylvania registration ENV 2092), police said.

Drake is facing numerous charges involving trespassing, assault and car theft, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 570-646-2271.
