Daniel R. Gilbert, professor of history at Moravian College - Obituaries today

Daniel Robert Gilbert, 87, of Moravian Hall Square, formerly of Hanover Township, Northampton County, died Wednesday evening, April 25, 2012 in Moravian Square, Nazareth.

Gilbert was a professor of history at Moravian College from 1953 to 1988, and was the chairman of the history department from 1963 to 1972.

He had a passionate interest tending the gardens in his yard.
