How hard is it to win? There are 59 white balls from which five are chosen. There are 35 red balls from which one is chosen. You have to match all five whites and the Powerball red.

The odds? One in 175,223,510, according to Powerball. One in 55.4 win $4 for matching one ball, by the way. A ticket costs $2.

The jackpot was last hit April 25, when 48 Philadelphia transit workers shared $172 million, according to nj.com.

If you only hit five numbers, you can win either $2 million or $1 million, depending on if the Powerball is one of your numbers, according to the lottery's website. Nobody hit either one on Wednesday.
