Some roads will be closed in northern New Jersey as a Formula One world champ takes a test drive on the planned course for a race next year.

Sebastian Vettel will drive a mock race car along the 3.2-mile course in Weehawken and West New York between noon and 2 p.m. Monday. Vehicles parked on the streets won't have to move.

West New York Police Director Michael Indri tells The Jersey Journal Vettel doesn't plan to exceed 40 mph. During a race, drivers would reach speeds up to 200 mph.
