He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and following his service worked at Smith Motor Company, of Washington, N.J., as a sales manager for over 30 years.
Person's passions included bowling, playing cards, hunting and fishing.
He also enjoyed watching his beloved NY Yankees and NC State University sports.
