Panel will address business impact of Supreme Court decision to uphold President Obama's health care law

Concannon, Miller & Co. and Hampson Mowrer Kreitz Insurance are hosting the panel Aug. 1 at the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center.

Local firms will hold a panel Aug. 1 explaining what the court's decision means to Lehigh Valley business owners.
Concannon, Miller & Co. and Hampson Mowrer Kreitz Insurance are inviting Lehigh Valley businesses to a panel discussion regarding the Supreme Court’s ruling to uphold President Obama’s health care law.

The event is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, in the Best Western Lehigh Valley Hotel and Conference Center on Routes 512 and 22 in Hanover Township, Northampton County.

The panel will speak to business owners, managers, chief financial officers, human resource professionals and controllers explaining how the ruling could affect their businesses.

The panel will include:
  • Vince Phillips, lobbyist with the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters.
  • David Vassilaros, director of heath care reform and regulatory affairs with Capital Blue Cross.
  • Tony Deutsch, an accountant and personal financial specialist with Concannon, Miller & Co.
  • Milan Slak, a lawyer and accountant with Concannon, Miller & Co., and Todd Linn, manager in the benefits division at HMK Insurance, will moderate.
