The teen suffered several traumatic injuries and is in very serious condition, according to officials.
An Easton driver struck a pedestrian early this morning near the Southmont Mall in Bethlehem Township, police report.
Sean Kempf, 18, of Palmer Township, was walking along the shoulder near the intersection of Freemansburg Avenue and Hope Road when he was hit, police said in a news release this morning.
Kempf was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill with several traumatic injuries, police said. A nursing supervisor said he was in critical condition this evening.
Lisa J. Ball, 45, of Easton, struck Kempf and was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem Township with minor injuries, police report.
Police are still investigating the crash and it was not immediately clear if charges would be filed.
