Steve Ogrodnik, 93, of Kingwood Township, passed away peacefully Nov. 20 at his home after a long illness.He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in North Africa, Sicily and Italy during World War II. He became fluent in Italian and was honorably discharged as a corporal.
After the war, Ogrodnik was a traveling salesman, a bartender and a house painter before working for the U.S. Postal Service in Bethlehem, retiring after 28 years of service.
