A man was arrested after the first car was crashed, but the woman broke free and stole another cruiser, police report.
Authorities say two people stole a New Jersey police car and led officers on a chase into Philadelphia where, after being stopped, one suspect then stole a Philadelphia cruiser.
Police say the suspects commandeered a patrol car in Camden after an officer got out to make a traffic stop. Police say the officer was struck as the suspects fled.
Authorities say the female driver led officers on a chase over the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, where she crashed the Camden cruiser.
Officials say that while pursuing police were then able to take a male suspect into custody, the woman broke loose and stole a Philadelphia patrol car.
After another chase, officers were able to stop her in the Northern Liberties neighborhood, where she was arrested.
