The threats were focused on a student at Skidmore College, police say.
Police say they've arrested a Massachusetts man whose threats against a student at an upstate New York college prompted officials to lock down the campus.
Details of the arrest are expected to be detailed at a 1 p.m. news conference, authorities report.
The Saratoga Springs Police Department says the Skidmore College campus went into lockdown Tuesday night after 49-year-old Lance Leonard made threats to harm the student and then himself. Police said Leonard may have been traveling in New Jersey.
Authorities say Leonard's last known address was in Cuttyhunk, an island off the southwestern coast of Massachusetts.
