Perla Cabral was hiking at the state park when she fell about 40 feet, authorities say.

The death of a woman who fell from a waterfall at Lehigh Gorge State Park in eastern Pennsylvania has been ruled accidental.

Authorities say 31-year-old Perla Cabral was hiking with someone else when she fell about 40 feet from Glen Onoko Falls in Lehigh Township around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Carbon County Coroner Bruce Nalesnik says the New York resident was initially responsive when emergency workers arrived, but died as they were taking her out of the park.

Nalesnik conducted an autopsy today. He says she died of multiple blunt-force injuries.

Cabral's website describes her as a DJ, musician and event promoter in New York.
