We know the drill by now.
Don't drive into standing water.
Why, once again, the reminder?
A flash flood watch is in place until 4 this afternoon in Lehigh, Northampton, Warren, Bucks and Hunterdon counties. A flood advisory for urban areas and small streams is in effect until 10 this morning in Lehigh, Northampton, and Bucks counties and western Hunterdon, the National Weather Service reports.
(UPDATE: Just before 8 this morning, Warren County and the rest of Hunterdon County were added to the flood advisory and it will last in those places until 11:30 a.m., the weather service said.)
Heavy rain about 6 this morning began moving into the Lehigh Valley and 1 to 2 inches could fall in a short amount of time, the weather service said.
There were tornado warnings earlier today in southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware, according to WFMZ.
