The 53-year-old was found late Tuesday afternoon about 200 yards from his tree stand, an official says.
A coroner says a western Pennsylvania deer hunter died of a heart attack before his body was found on the ground about 200 yards from his tree stand.
Armstrong County Deputy Coroner Brian Myers says no autopsy is planned because it is clear that 53-year-old Thomas Heim, of Butler, Pa., died of natural causes.
A group of friends found the hunter's body about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Cowanshannock Township.
That's about 40 miles north of Pittsburgh.
