The National Weather Service expects anywhere between 1 and 4 inches of snowfall.
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly, N.J., issued a winter weather advisory for eastern Pennsylvania and northwest New Jersey until 8 tonight.
Snow accumulations are expected to be anywhere between 1 and 4 inches, with some of the highest totals in the Poconos and northwest New Jersey, according to the NWS.
Allentown’s Lights in the Parkway is closed for the evening, according to a news release from the City of Allentown. It will reopen at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The NWS says the snow will stick easily to untreated surfaces and cause hazardous travel and longer commutes.
The snow has already caused crashes throughout the region, and the NWS advised motorists to use caution and be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
