UPDATE: Jerry Sandusky verdict: guilty of 45 counts of sex abuse

Officials are reporting that a verdict has been reached in the Jerry Sandusky trial.

Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, is accused of sexual abuse of 10 boys over a 15-year period. He denies the allegations.

Today was the second day of deliberations. Earlier in the day the jury sought details from the judge on a boy known as Victim 8. They also listened to the testimony from Mike McQueary and Dr. Jonathan Dranov that was read out loud from transcripts.

Stay tuned as we update when news becomes available.

Earlier today Defense lawyer Joe Amendola says he would be shocked and "die of a heart attack" if Sandusky is acquitted on all counts.
