Emergency radio reports reports indicate several trees and power lines down throughout the area, including the 500 block of Main Street in Northampton and Route 946.
Washington State Police, N.J., report a tree down on Buttonwood Lane near Harmony Township with a wire sparking. Firefighters are at the scene.
Wires are reported to be down on William Penn Highway in the area of Chipman Road. Wires also are down on Island Park Road in Williams Township.
