State and government offices will be closed for the day, but most stores and restaurants will be open.
Monday is Martin Luther King Day, a federal and state holiday that recognizes King's birthday.
Most banks will close for the day, and don't expect any mail delivery, since post offices will also shut their doors.
Many schools will be closed, although some will be in session for a snow make-up day. Some districts are holding teacher in-service days instead, so check with your local school to be sure.
In Pennsylvania, Lehigh and Northampton county government offices are closed, as are the Warren and Hunterdon county government offices in New Jersey.
Pennsylvania's liquor stores will also be shut down for the day.
Most retail stores and restaurants will remain open, however.
