James B. Rodney Sr., 87, of Plainfield Township, passed away Saturday at home, surrounded by his loving family.

James worked as a truck driver for Schwerman Trucking Co., and earlier as a timber man and a coal miner.

He was an avid Ham Radio operator and CB enthusiast. He was known by many by his handle, the "Globetrotter."
